The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of business IT solutions by effectively and efficiently managing the definition, analysis, delivery and maintenance of business, project and system requirements.
The Business Analyst will either be located within the Business Analysis and Test Team within the Projects Organization where they will be responsible for requirements-related activities for cross-portfolio complex projects or within one of six Portfolio Teams within Service Delivery where they will be responsible for portfolio-specific non-complex projects.
Regardless of reporting line, in order for the BA to be successful in this role, they will need to be proficient with a broad range of business analysis skills and competencies including planning and organization, leadership, information gathering, analysis, modeling, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Healthcare IT and Medicaid Eligibility Systems SME that has practical knowledge of Healthcare IT, MMIS and other Medical Information Systems, and can help guide our organization through strategic long- and short-term planning, implementation of new initiatives, modification of existing program operations, and development of policies and procedures.
The individual must have the ability to multi-task, be creative, innovative, flexible and organized. The individual must possess a strong relevant background in both presentation and middle tier programming technologies and is prepared to be involved in all facets of development, testing, deployment and support.
Candidates demonstrate excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a high-energy, goal-oriented team environment. Important skills also include: attention to detail, understanding of source control procedures, and a grasp of user interface concepts / issues.
